Said Code is the Uniform Mechanical Code, 1988 <br /> Edition, and Appendix Chapters A, B, C and D, <br /> published jointly by the International <br /> Conference of Building Officials and the <br /> International Association of Plumbing and <br /> Mechanical Officials. Three copies of this <br /> Code are on file with the city clerk for use <br /> by the public." <br /> <br />Section 5: Section 5 (part) of Ordinance 1169, as amended, <br /> and Section 20.20,010 of the Pleasanton Municipal <br /> Code are hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "20.20.010 National Electrical Code and Uniform <br /> Administrative Code Provisions for the National <br /> Electrical Code adopted. <br /> <br /> A. There is adopted by reference those certain <br /> Codes known as the National Electrical Code, <br /> and the Uniform Administrative Code Provisions <br /> for the National Electrical Code, more <br /> particularly described in this section, except <br /> such portions as are amended, modified or <br /> deleted in this Chapter, and the same are <br /> adopted and incorporated as fully as if set <br /> out at length in this Chapter. <br /> <br /> B. Said Codes are the National Electrical Code, <br /> 1987 Edition, published by the National Fire <br /> Protection Association and the Uniform <br /> Administrative Code Provisions for the <br /> National Electrical Code published by the <br /> International Conference of Building <br /> Officials, 1987 Edition, three copies of which <br /> are on file with the city clerk for use by the <br /> public." <br /> <br />Section 6: Section 8 (part) of Ordinance 1169, as amended, <br /> and Sections 20.24.010 and 20.24.030 of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code are hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> <br /> "20.24.010 Uniform Fire Code adopted. <br /> <br /> A. There is adopted by reference for the purpose <br /> of prescribing regulations governing <br /> conditions hazardous to life and property from <br /> fire or explosion that certain Code and <br /> Standards known as the Uniform Fire Code, more <br /> particularly described in this section, except <br /> such portions as are amended, modified or <br /> deleted in this Chapter, and the same is <br /> adopted and incorporated as fully as if set <br /> out at length in this Chapter. <br /> <br /> <br />
