CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1478 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING IN PART THE APPLICATION OF <br /> pT~ASANTVIT~AGEASSOCIATES AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-80-15-5D-2M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Pleasant Village Associates has applied for a major <br /> modification to an approved retail commercial complex to <br /> relocate an electrical room and trash enclosure, modify <br /> a fountain, extend a covered arcade and storefront <br /> windows to the west building elevation, amend the <br /> approved comprehensive signing program to allow two <br /> identification signs for the tenant space located at the <br /> westerly end of the building located at 6700 Santa Rita <br /> Road, and to permit a three foot height increase for a <br /> portion of the building; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - Commercial District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of July 17, 1990, the <br /> Council considered all public testimony, relevant <br /> exhibits, and recommendations of the City staff; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature proposing minor physical changes <br /> to approved plans are categorically exempt from the <br /> requirements of CEQA; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendations for approval of the proposed <br /> modifications; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed modifications, <br /> as modified, are appropriate for the site. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Approves in part the application of Pleasant Village <br /> Associates (Case PUD-80-15-5D-2M) for a major <br /> modification to an approved retail commercial complex to <br /> relocate an electrical room and trash enclosure, modify <br /> a fountain, extend a covered arcade and storefront <br /> windows to the west building elevation, and amend the <br /> approved comprehensive signing program to allow two <br /> identification signs for the tenant space located at the <br /> westerly end of the building located at 6700 Santa Rita <br /> Road subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit "A" <br /> attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
