CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1483 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> MCDONALD'8 CORPORATION FOR PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN <br /> APPROVAL A8 FILED UNDER CASE PUD-90-9 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, McDonald's applied for planned unit development rezoning <br /> and development plan approval to construct a new <br /> approximately 5,300 square foot, fast-food restaurant <br /> with drive-through located at 6800 Santa Rita Road in the <br /> area generally bounded by Pimlico Drive and the new <br /> eastbound entrance ramp from Santa Rita Road to 1-580; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on August 21, 1990; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendations for approval of the rezoning and <br /> development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on August 21, <br /> 1990; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan and <br /> proposed zoning are consistent with PUD considerations <br /> and the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 2.5 acre site <br /> located at 6800 Santa Rita Road in the area generally <br /> bounded by Pimlico Drive and the new eastbound entrance <br /> ramp from Santa Rita Road to 1-580 (Case PUD-90-9) from <br /> the C-F (Freeway Commercial) and PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - Commercial Districts to "PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - Commercial" District. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 8, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map #391, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "A", dated August 21, 1990, and incorporated <br /> herein by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
