CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1492 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 18.96,030, <br /> 18.96.040, 18.96.050, AND 18.96.060 OF THE <br /> PI~ASANTONMUNICIPAL CODE, AMENDING SECTIONS 3 AND <br /> 4 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1162 AND SECTIONS 18.96.100 AND <br /> 18.96,150 OF THE PT~ASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE, AND <br /> AMENDING SECTION 1 (PART) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1225, <br /> AS AMENDED, AND SECTION 18.74.130 OF THE <br /> PT~ASANTONMUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING REAL ESTATE <br /> SIGNS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Sections 18.96.030, 18.96.040, 18.'96.050, and <br /> 18.96,060 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code are hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 18.96,030 Exempt Signs <br /> <br /> The following signs are not subject to the <br /> regulations of this chapter: <br /> <br /> (Subsections A - H, no change.) <br /> <br /> I. A real estate sign designating an open house for <br /> an individual home for sale or lease, other than first- <br /> time sales of homes within new subdivisions; provided, <br /> however, that the signs: <br /> <br /> (Paragraphs 1-3, no change.) <br /> <br /> 4. May be displayed Monday through Sunday, 10:00 <br /> AM through 6:00 PM during Pacific Standard <br /> Time, and may be displayed Monday through <br /> Sunday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM during Pacific <br /> Daylight Savings Time. <br /> # <br /> <br /> (Paragraphs 5-9, no change.) <br /> <br /> Section 18.96.040 Signs in A or R Districts <br /> <br /> No sign or outdoor advertising structure shall be <br /> permitted in an A or R district except the following: <br /> <br /> (Subsections A-E, no change.) <br /> <br /> <br />
