Ordinance No. 1497 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> G. ' Transient ' means any person who <br /> exercises occupancy, or who is entitled to <br /> occupancy, for a period of thirty consecutive <br /> calendar days or less, counting portions of <br /> calendar days as full days. Any such person <br /> so occupying space in a hotel shall be deemed <br /> to be a transient until the period of thirty <br /> days. has expired, unless there is an <br /> agreement in writing between the operator and <br /> the occupancy providing for a longer period <br /> of occupancy." <br /> <br />Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on January 22, 1991. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on February 5, 1991 by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers- Butler, Mohr, Scribner, Tarver and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None ~~ <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />KENNETH R.
