Ordinance No. 1508 <br /> <br /> B. Each non-residential customer shall reduce its water use by <br /> 15% from the comparable billing period in 1990 except as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Every athletic club customer shall reduce its water use <br /> by 35% from the comparable billing period in 1990. <br /> <br /> 2. Every customer using water to manufacture, alter, <br /> convert, clean, grow, heat or cool a product, including <br /> laundries, and car wash facilities that recycle their <br /> water, shall reduce its use by 10% from the comparable <br /> billing period in 1990. <br /> <br /> C. Every irrigation customer shall reduce its water use by 40% <br /> from the comparable billing period in 1990. <br /> <br /> D. The water conservation measures set forth in Section 9.30,070C <br /> are mandatory. <br /> <br /> 9.30.100. STAGE IV - 40% MANDATORY REDUCTION IN RESIDENTIAL <br /> WATER USE; 15% MANDATORY REDUCTION IN NON-RESIDENTIAL <br /> WATER USE; 45% MANDATORY REDUCTION IN IRRIGATION USE. <br /> <br /> The Director may declare a Stage IV reduction in water use <br /> and thereby impose a mandatory reduction in water use as follows: <br /> <br /> A. Each residential customer shall reduce its water use by 40% <br /> from the comparable billing period in 1990. <br /> <br /> 1. For single family residential customers: <br /> <br /> a. The floor shall be 34 hundred cubic feet per <br /> bimonthly billing period (425 GPD). <br /> b. The ceiling shall be 68 hundred cubic feet per <br /> bimonthly billing period (850 GPD). <br /> <br /> 2. For multiple family residential - apartment - customers: <br /> <br /> a. The floor shall be 8 hundred cubic feet per <br /> bimonthly billing period per apartment unit (98 GPD <br /> per apartment unit). <br /> b. The ceiling shall be 16 hundred cubic feet per <br /> bimonthly billing period per apartment unit (195 <br /> GPD per apartment unit.) <br /> <br /> 3. Multiple family residential - townhouses/condominium <br /> customers: <br /> <br /> 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
