Ordinance No. 1508 a. The floor shall be 11 hundred cubic feet per bimonthly billing period per unit (140 GPD per unit). b. The ceiling shall be 22 hundred cubic feet per bimonthly billing period per unit (280 GPD per unit). B. Each non-residential customer shall reduce its water use by 15% from the comparable billing period in 1990 except as follows: 1. Every athletic club customer shall reduce its water use by 40% from the comparable billing period in 1990. 2. Every customer using water to manufacture, alter, convert, clean, grow, heat or cool a product, including laundries, and car wash facilities that recycle their water, shall reduce its use by 10% from the comparable billing period in 1990. C. Every irrigation customer shall reduce its water use by 45% from the comparable billing period in 1990. D. The water conservation measures set forth in Section 9.30.070C are mandatory. 9.30.110. STAGE V - 50% MANDATORY REDUCTION IN RESIDENTIAL WATER USE; 15% MANDATORY REDUCTION IN NON-RESIDENTIAL WATER USE; 60% MANDATORY REDUCTION IN NON-RESIDENTIAL WATER USE. The Director may declare a Stage V reduction in water use and thereby impose a mandatory reduction in water use as follows: A. Each residential customer shall reduce its water use by 50% from the comparable billing period in 1990. 1. For single family residential customers: a. The floor shall be 28 hundred cubic feet per bimonthly billing period (350 GPD). b. The ceiling shall be 56 hundred cubic feet per bimonthly billing period (700 GPD). 2. For multiple family residential - apartment - customers: a. The floor shall be 7 hundred cubic feet per bimonthly billing period per apartment unit (81 GPD per apartment unit). 10
