8-3 Provide detailed construction plan for landslide stabilization
(Draft EIR, pages 8-11 ad 8-12). Said mitigation measure was
considered and adopted with any pertinent changes in Condition
8-3, Exhibit "B" of the City Council staff report dated June
16, 1992.

8-4 Control subdivision surface drainage (Draft EIR, page 8-12).
Said mitigation measure was considered and adopted with any
pertinent changes in Condition 8-4, Exhibit "B" of the City
Council staff report dated June 16, 1992.

8-5 Reduce damage to structures from slope creep (Draft EIR, page
8-12). Said mitigation measure was considered and adopted
with any pertinent changes in Condition 8-5, Exhibit "B" of
the City Council staf~ report dated June 16, 1992.

8-6 Implement grading procedures for slope stabilization (Draft
EIR, page 8-12). Said mitigation measure was considered and
adopted with any pertinent changes in Condition 8-6, Exhibit
"B" of the City Council staff report dated June 16, 1992.

Finding: Mitigation Measures 8-1 through 8-6 Feasible and Required

The City finds that'it is feasible to mitigate this impact to a
less-than-significant level by requiring the applicant and
successors in interest to incorporate the specific provisions of
Mitigations 8-1 through 8-6 into the project design. The applicant
and successors in interest shall incorporate such geotechnical
impact reduction provisions into project design as a "C6ndition of
Approval" to the project.

Stream, Gully and Sheet Erosion

Impact: Potential for stream, qully and sheet erosion

The City finds that the project could experience stream, gully and
sheet erosion which can cause landslides and sedimentation build-up
in creeks and other drainageways. This is a potential significant
impact (Draft EIR, page 8-13).

Proposed Mitigation Measures of the EIR

The EIR identified the following mitigation measures which would
substantially avoid this erosion impact.

8-8 Prepare erosion control plans (Draft EIR, page 8-13). Said
mitigation measure was considered and adopted with any
pertinent changes in Condition 8-8, Exhibit "B" of the City
Council staff report dated June 16, 1992.

17
