Said Code is the Uniform Fire Code, 1991 Edition, <br /> including Appendix Chapter I-C, II-A, II-D, II-F, <br /> IV-B, and V-A, and the Uniform Fire Code Standards, <br /> published by the Western Fire Chiefs Association <br /> and the International Conference of Building <br /> Officials, three copies of which are on file with <br /> the city clerk for use by the public. <br /> <br />20.24.015 Deletions <br /> <br />Article 88 shall be deleted from the adopted UniformFire <br />Code. <br /> <br />20,24,020 Board of Appeals <br /> <br />Section 2.303 of the adopted Uniform Fire Code is amended <br />to read as follows: <br /> <br />In order to determine the suitability of alternative <br />material and type of construction and to provide for <br />reasonable interpretations of the provisions of this <br />code, there shall be and hereby is established a Board of <br />Appeals, the members of which shall be the City Council <br />of the City of Pleasanton. The City Manager shall act as <br />Secretary to the Board. The City Manager shall call all <br />meetings o~ the Board. <br /> <br />20.24,030 Section 10.507 - Automatic fire protection <br />systems. <br /> <br /> Section 10.507(b) of the adopted Uniform Fire Code is <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Notwithstanding any other provision of the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code, including this Uniform Fire Code, <br />installation of automatic fire protection systems shall <br />be required as provided in Section 20.08,050 of the <br />Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> 20.24.035 Restitution <br /> <br /> Section 2.111 is added to the Uniform Fire Code to read <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> The fire department may seek restitution from an owner, <br /> operator, occupant or other person responsible for a <br /> property for the reasonable cost of suppressing a fire on <br /> that property which is a result of that person's <br /> violation of any federal, state, or local ordinance or <br /> statute. <br /> <br /> 8 <br /> <br /> <br />
