Section 80.301~a). Explosion Control. For quantities of <br />hazardous materials in excess of the exempt amounts <br />specified in Sections 80.301 through 80.315, unless <br />exempt or otherwise provided for in Sections 80,301 <br />through 80.315, indoor storage areas and storage <br />buildings shall be provided with explosion control in <br />accordance the Building Code. <br /> <br />[Delete Sections 80.301(r)-(t)] <br /> <br />SectiOn 80.301(U), Emeraencv Alarm. An approved <br />emergency alarm system shall be provided in buildings, <br />rooms or areas used for the storage of hazardous <br />materials in excess of the exempt amounts specified in <br />Sections 80,302 through 80,315. Emergency alarm signal <br />device shall be installed outside of each interior exit <br />door of storage buildings, rooms or areas. Activation of <br />the emergency alarm-initiating device shall sound a local <br />alarm to alert occupants of an emergency situation <br />involving hazardous materials. <br /> <br /> [Delete Sections 80.301(v)-(W)] <br /> <br />Section 80.301(x). Clearance from Combustibles. For <br />quantities of hazardous materials in excess of the exempt <br />amounts specified in Sections 80.301 through 80.315, the <br />area surrounding an exterior storage area or tank shall <br />be kept clear of combustible material and vegetation for <br />a minimum distance of 30 feet. <br /> <br />Section 80.301(v). Noncombustible Floor. Floors of <br />storage areas shall be of noncombustible construction. <br /> <br />Section 80,301(z), Professional Enqineer. The chief is <br />authorized to require design submittals to bear the <br />signature and stamp of an approved, professional <br />engineer. <br /> <br />Section S0,301(aa). Weather Protection.
