Notwithstanding subsections 3.28.030 A. and B., and <br /> notwithstanding the provisions of Administrative <br /> Directive No. 28-307, as amended, (the Guidelines <br /> for Disposition of Unclaimed Property), any <br /> bicycles or toys or both, in the possession of the <br /> Pleasanton Police Department, which have. been <br /> unclaimed for a period of at least ninety (90) <br /> days, may be turned over to the Alameda County <br /> probation officer, to the welfare department of <br /> Alameda County, or to any charitable or nonprofit <br /> organization which is authorized under its articles <br /> of incorporation to participate in a program or <br /> activity designed to prevent juvenile delinquency." <br /> <br />Section 3: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once <br /> within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The <br /> Tri-Valley Herald," a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete <br /> ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the <br /> City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br /> <br />Section 4: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on July 7, 1992. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on July 21, 1992 by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Tarver, Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None NE~Th.MER~O <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Scribner <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> R <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Pegg~ ~.dRYidro~' City Clerk <br /> <br />A~O~ <br />Michael H.
