CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1579 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> CHANG SU-O LIN (KOTTINGER HILLS) FOR <br /> DEVELOPMENT pLAN APPROVALAS FILED UNDERCASE <br /> PUD-91-13 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chang Su-O Lin has applied for Planned Unit Development <br /> (PUD) development plan approval to construct 122 single- <br /> family residential dwelling units and an 18-hole golf <br /> course on an approximately 562-acre site located <br /> generally east of Hearst Drive and south of Red Feather <br /> Drive; 'and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - Rural Density Residential and Open Space <br /> District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report was prepared for this <br /> project and on September 15, 1992, a resolution <br /> certifying the Environmental Impact Report as complete <br /> and adequate was adopted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Environmental Impact Report disclosed some <br /> significant and potentially significant adverse impacts, <br /> most of which could be mitigated; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendations for approval of the development plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, both staff and Planning Commission have recommended that <br /> the benefits of the project - social, economic, and <br /> environmental/land use - outweigh the few significant <br /> adverse environmental impacts, thereby justifying <br /> approval of the project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on September 15, <br /> 1992; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the development plan is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
