CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1693 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION <br /> OF DELTA PROPERTIES FOR PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT <br /> PLAN APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-96-13 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Delta Properties has applied for Planned Unit Development rezoning to <br /> permit additional commercial uses for this site within the Pleasanton park <br /> PUD and development plan approval to construct an approximately 49,250 <br /> square foot retail center, a 126-suite hotel (66,800 square foot Candlewood <br /> Hotel), a 2,900 square foot fast food restaurant (In-n-Out Burger), and a <br /> maximum 8,500 square foot restaurant on an approximately nine-acre site <br /> located o the northeast comer of Owens Drive and Johnson Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O <br /> (Industrial/Commercial and Office) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a Negative Declaration was <br /> adopted by the City Council on September 10, 1996; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval <br /> of the proposed major modification to the approved planned unit <br /> development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public heating was held on September 10, 1996; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council fmds that the proposed modification is appropriate for the <br /> site and is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton; and <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
