· ,- Utilities. Lighting. Landscat~ing <br /> <br /> 58. All utilities required to serve any existing or proposed development on-site shall be <br /> installed underground, unless otherwise determined by the City. Engineer. <br /> <br /> 59. The design of the water supply and sanitary sewer systems shall be subject to the review <br /> and approval of the City Engineer. <br /> <br /> 60. Electric power distribution, gas distribution, communication service, Cable television. <br /> and any required alarm systems shall be installed underground in a joint utility trench <br /> unless otherwise specifically approved by the City Engineer or Director of Building <br /> Inspection for on-site. <br /> <br /> On-Site Operations <br /> <br /> 61. All existing wells on the site shall be removed or sealed, filled and abandoned pursuant to <br /> Alameda County Ordinance 73-68, prior to the start of grading operations unless Zone 7 <br /> retains specific wells for observation wells, or special approval is obtained from the City <br /> Engineer for temporary use of an existing well for construction water. Any wells <br /> designated for abandonment or any wells, encountered during construction, are to be <br /> destroyed in accordance with a permit obtained from Zone 7. <br /> <br /> 62. All existing septic tanks or holding tanks shall be removed or sealed, filled, and <br /> abandoned, pursuant to the requirements of the Alameda County Department of Health <br /> Services. <br /> <br /> 63. The developer's contractor(s) shall obtain an encroachment permit from the City Engineer <br /> prior to moving any construction equipment onto the site. <br /> <br /> 64. Any damage to existing street improvements during construction on the subject property <br /> shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at full expense to the developer. <br /> This shall include slurry seal, overlay, or street reconstruction if deemed warranted by the <br /> City Engineer. <br /> <br /> 65. The haul rome for all materials to and from this development shall be approved by the <br /> City Engineer prior to the issuance of an encroachment permit. <br /> <br /> <br />
