CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1678 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING TRF~ APPLICATION <br /> OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND MANULIFE <br /> REAL ESTATE FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO <br /> AN APPROVED PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT, AS <br /> FILED UNDER CASE PUD-85-10-4M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton and Manulife Real Estate have applied for a major <br /> modification to an approved Planned Unit Development mending and <br /> adding conditions of approval regarding uses, hours of parking lot gate <br /> closure, parking lot lighting, landscaping, and lattice fence extensions for <br /> the 52 space eastern parking lot and buildings located at 5725 and 5737 <br /> Valley Avenue for the Hopyard Village Shopping Center located at the <br /> northeast comer of Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C-C (Central <br /> Commercial) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br /> California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation for approval <br /> of the proposed major modification to the approved planned unit <br /> development; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 19, 1996; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed modification is in the best interest <br /> of the public health, safety, and general welfare. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
