Ordinance No. 1674 <br />Page 2 <br /> 2,38.030 iAp. p_oiDlml~ <br /> <br /> As to the at large members, the initial appointments to the Commission <br /> shall be the existing at large members of the Housing Authority <br /> Commission. As their terms expire (as established by City Council <br /> resolution concerning term limits for Commissioners), the Mayor shall <br /> appoint at large members (including the alternate) as provided in the <br /> adopted City Council resolution establishing procedures for appointments <br /> to Boards and Commissions; provided, however, that no more than two at- <br /> large members may reside in affordable housing projects. For purposes of <br /> this section, an affordable housing project is any project that is either <br /> owned by the City of Pleasanton, is subject to a ground lease with the City <br /> of Pleasanton, is part of the City's second mortgage home loan or <br /> homeowners assistance programs, or receives financial assistance from the <br /> City. <br /> <br /> 2,38.040 Alternate Member <br /> <br /> The alternate member shall vote in the case of an absence or conflict of <br /> interest of any regular member. The alternate member may serve as a <br /> voting member on any subcommittee of the Commission and may be <br /> designated as the Commission's representative to other boards and <br /> commissions. <br /> <br /> 2.38.050 Terms <br /> <br /> A. At large members shall serve their terms consistent with the City <br /> Council resolution concerning term limits for Commission members. <br /> <br /> B. The liaison members shall be nominated by their representative <br /> Commissions for one-year terms commencing in January of each <br /> year. The term of office of the liaison members shall not extend <br /> beyond their term on the Commission they represent. <br /> <br /> 2.38.060 Maintenance of Membership <br /> <br /> Persons appointed to the Commission shall continue to serve as members <br /> of the Commission except when: <br /> <br /> <br />
