There is adopted by reference for the <br /> purpose of prescribing regulations <br /> governing conditions hazardous to life <br /> and property from fire or explosion that <br /> certain Code known as the Uniform Fire <br /> Code, Volumes 1 and 2, more particularly <br /> described in this section, except such <br /> portions as are amended, modified or <br /> deleted in this Chapter, and the same is <br /> adopted and incorporated as fully as if <br /> set out at length in this chapter. <br /> <br /> B. Said code is the Uniform Fire Code Volume <br /> 1 and 2, 1994 Edition, including all <br /> indexes and appendices, except Appendix <br /> Chapter I-A, I-B, II-C, II-E, III-B, and <br /> VI-C, published by the Western Fire <br /> Chiefs Association and the International <br /> Conference of Building Officials, three <br /> copies of which are on file with the City <br /> Clerk for use by the public. <br /> <br /> (Delete existing Section 20.24.15). <br /> <br /> 20.24.020 Board of Appeals <br /> <br /> Section 103.1.4 of the adopted Uniform Fire <br /> Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> In order to determine the suitability of <br /> alternative material and type of <br /> construction and to provide for reasonable <br /> interpretations of the provisions of this <br /> code, there shall be and hereby is <br /> established a Board of Appeals, the <br /> members of which shall be the City Council <br /> of the City of Pleasanton. The City <br /> Manager shall act as secretary to the <br /> Board. The City Manager shall call all <br /> meetings of the Board. <br /> <br /> 20.24.030 Section 1003.2.2 amended - Automatic <br /> Fire Protection Systems. <br /> <br /> Section 1003.2.2 of the adopted Uniform Fire <br /> Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Notwithstanding any other provision of the <br /> Pleasanton Municipal Code, including this <br /> <br /> <br />
