Ordinance No. 1669 <br />Page 11 <br /> <br /> shall consider the relationship of the <br /> proposed finish grade to the finish grade of <br /> the adjoining lots and the affect of the <br /> proposed grading on ridges or other prominent <br /> visual landforms, trees and other vegetation, <br /> drainage patterns, maintenance <br /> responsibilities, and such other effects as <br /> grading may have on the public's general <br /> welfare. Proposed grading plans shall be <br /> subject to environmental assessment pursuant <br /> to California Environmental Quality Act, and <br /> the Director is hereby authorized to implement <br /> such mitigation measures as may be required to <br /> avoid potentially significant effects. No <br /> grading which in the determination of the <br /> Director, is proposed in contemplation of <br /> subsequent development of a site shall take <br /> place unless 1) that development has first <br /> received initial discretionary City approval <br /> (e.g., design review, PUD development plan, <br /> subdivision map) and is in conformance with <br /> the preliminary grading plans shown as part of <br /> that discretionary City approval or 2) the <br /> grading proposed is determined by the Director <br /> after consultation with the City Engineer and <br /> Planning Director, to be conducive to the <br /> ordinary and proper subsequent development to <br /> the site." <br /> <br /> 20.08.080 Appendix Section 3306.2.1 amended - <br /> Exceptions for grading permit reguirements. <br /> <br /> Appendix Section 3306.2.1 of the Uniform <br /> Building Code is amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> Notwithstanding the above, no grading shall be <br /> exempt if, in the determination of the <br /> Director of Building Inspection, the grading <br /> proposed (1) is being done with contemplation <br /> of subsequent development of the site, or (2) <br /> would be detrimental to the general welfare of <br /> users of the adjoining and/or surrounding <br /> lots. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Chapter 20.12 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code, as <br /> amended, is hereby further amended to read as <br /> follows: <br /> <br /> "20.12.010 Uniform Plumbing Code adopted. <br /> (Subsection A, no change.) <br /> <br /> <br />
