Ordinance No. 1657 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br /> vii) Individual keyboard signs shah be removed from the <br /> reader board sign within 30 days of the date of the <br /> sale of the last unit in the subdivision advertised; <br /> viii) The sign may be maintained for a period of one year, <br /> after which time an extension may be granted by the <br /> Zoning Administrator, up to a maximum of five <br /> years (5) in one location; and <br /> ix) A building permit shah be required prior to <br /> installation. <br /> <br /> 5. U~e of Individual and Reader Board Sign. An applicant may <br /> utilize one or more of the above types of off-site directional signs <br /> as long as no more than two signs or keyboard signs are used to <br /> advertise a subdivision or residential product type within a <br /> subdivision in the following combinations: <br /> <br /> a. two individual off-site subdivision directional signs for each <br /> subdivision or product type; OR <br /> b. one individual off-site subdivision directional sign for each <br /> product type or subdivision and one reader board keyboard <br /> sign for each subdivision or product type; OR <br /> c. two reader board keyboard signs for each subdivision or <br /> product type. <br /> <br /> 6. Off-site signs on developed residential property. Off-site <br /> directional signs proposed to be' erected on a developed, <br /> residentially-zoned property, shall be subject to the following <br /> conditions: <br /> <br /> a. The Zoning Administrator shah make a finding that due to <br /> the location of the new subdivision, locating a sign on a <br /> developed residential lot is necessary to direct the public to <br /> the development; <br /> <br /> b. The sign shah be limited to a total height of four feet (4') <br /> measured from ground level,' <br /> <br /> c. No dimension of the sign shall exceed two feet (2') and the <br /> total sign area shall not exceed four (4) square feet; <br /> <br /> d. The sign shall be located only in a front or side yard, or as <br /> approved by the Zoning Administrator; <br /> <br /> <br />
