Use Permits for Small Bed and Breakfasts and Bed and <br /> Breakfast Inns <br /> <br /> 18.124.260 Procedure <br /> <br /> Applications for Small Bed and Breakfasts and Bed and Breakfast Inns <br /> shall be processed in accordance with Article I of this Chapter. <br /> <br /> In addition to the findings listed in Section 18.124.070, the Planning <br /> Commission shall make the following finding before granting of a use permit for <br /> a Small Bed and Breakfast in a R-1 District: That the proposed location of the <br /> Small Bed and Breakfast will not change the residential character of the <br /> neighborhood due to an over concentration of Small Bed and Breakfast or other <br /> home business establishments in the area. <br /> <br /> 18.124.270 Standards <br /> <br /> A. Small Bed and Breakfasts shall be owner occupied. Bed and <br /> Breakfast Inns shall be owner occupied or shall provide for a resident manager. <br /> <br /> B. Meal service shall be limited only to residents and overnight <br /> guests, except that in the C-C district, a restaurant may be approved as part of <br /> the use permit for a Bed and Breakfast Inn. <br /> <br /> C. No receptions, banquets, or other commercial gatherings shall be <br /> permitted unless approved as part of the use permit for a Bed and Breakfast Inn <br /> in the C-C district. <br /> <br /> D. Small Bed and Breakfasts and Bed and Breakfast Inns shall conform <br /> to the requirements of the County Health department, the Uniform Building Code, <br /> and Title 24 of the California Administrative Code. <br /> <br /> E. Parking shall be provided on-site as provided in Sections 18.88.030 <br /> and 18.88.040 of this Chapter." <br /> <br /> Section 11: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days <br /> after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation <br /> published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted <br /> for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br /> <br /> Section 12: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage <br /> and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
