CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1605 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION i (PART) OF <br /> ORDINANCE 1370 AND SECTION 19.44.040 AND <br /> 19.44.080 OF THE PLEASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE <br /> REGARDING IN-LIEU PARK DEDICATION FEE8 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Government Code S66477 allows cities to require <br /> dedication of land or payment of in-lieu fees for park <br /> and recreation purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 19.44 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br /> (Dedications) establishes a formula for determining the <br /> in-lieu park dedication fee and the formula for the <br /> dedication of land; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Chapter 19.44, the Council has determined the <br /> fair market value of land and has determined the value of <br /> off-site improvement costs; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Section 1 (part) of Ordinance 1370 and Section <br /> 19.44.040 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code are amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> <br /> "19.44.040 Formula for dedication of land. <br /> <br /> (Subsection A, no change.)~ <br /> <br /> B. The formula for determining acreage to be <br /> dedicated has been established as follows: <br /> <br /> Dwelling Assumed Standard: <br /> Type Density Acres/DUs <br /> <br /> *Single-family 3.09 persons/DU .0166 acres/DU <br /> **Multi-family 2.05 persons/DU .0099 acres/DU <br /> <br /> *Definition of Single-family - Detached single-family <br /> homes have no common walls and attached single-family <br /> homes have common walls from ground to ceiling. <br /> <br /> **Definition of Multi-family - Multiple-family homes have <br /> common walls from ground to roof. <br /> <br /> (Subsections C - F, no change.)" <br /> <br /> <br />
