CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1599 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> TRI-VALLEY CHINESE BIBLE CHURCH FOR A MAJOR <br /> MODIFICATION TO AN APPROVED PLANNED UNIT <br /> DEVELOPMENT AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-80-1-TM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Tri-Valley Chinese Bible Church has applied for a major <br /> modification to an approved planned unit development <br /> (PUD-80-1) for Valley Business Park to modify a condition <br /> of approval to allow church uses to operate on weekends, <br /> and beyond the 7:00 p.m. time limit currently imposed on <br /> weekdays, for those properties within the Valley Business <br /> Park which abut the residences on Kolln Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br /> - Industrial District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the development plan for the Valley Business Park was <br /> approved in March, 1980, and has since been modified six <br /> times; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommendation <br /> for approval of the proposed major modification to the <br /> approved PUD; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, minor alterations in land use limitations are <br /> categorically exempt (section 15305) from the <br /> requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act <br /> (CEQA), and therefore, no environmental document was <br /> prepared or required for this proposed modification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 20, 1993; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the requested modification is <br /> consistent with the City's General Plan and PUD-80-1. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
