CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1590 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> DAVID JONES FOR PIeD UNIT DE~FELOPMENT <br /> REZONING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVkL AS <br /> FILED UI~DER CASE PUD-90-12 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, David Jones has applied for planned unit development <br /> rezoning for one acre of land (APN 946-3475-6), and <br /> development plan approval to construct a nine-unit <br /> single-family residential development over a 3~ acre site <br /> (2 separate parcels) located at 1605 Rose Avenue (APN <br /> 946-3475-5 and 946-3475-6), on the north side of the <br /> intersection of Rose Avenue and Rose Lane; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Agricultural/PUD-Medium <br /> Density Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on February 16, 1993; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> reco~Lmendations for approval of the rezoning and <br /> development plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on February 16, <br /> 1993 and March 2, 1993; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed project is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF pLEAS~NTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1: Approves the rezoning of one acre of land from the <br /> ' Agricultural zoning district to the PUD (Planned Unit <br /> development) - MDR (Medium Density Residential) (APN <br /> 946-3475-6)- <br /> <br /> Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> ' April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map No. 421, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "A", dated March 2, 1993, and incorporated herein <br /> by this reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
