Ordinance No. 1584 Page Six E. All the information contained in the verified application for a certificate, and the report and findings of the Police Chief; F. Engineering factors related to the proposed location of a Closed Stand for the applicant's exclusive use; and G. All other such information or material that the City Council deems pertinent to the issuance of a Certificate. 6.40.070 Indemnity Bond or Liability Insurance Required. After the City Council has authorized the issuance of a Certificate, but before the Police Chief issues the Certificate, there shall be in full force and in effect insurance for each Taxicab in the amount of at least two hundred fifty thousand dollars for bodily injury to any one person; in the amount of at least one million dollars for injuries to more than one person which were sustained in the same accident; and one hundred thousand dollars for property damage resulting from any one accident. Said insurance shall benefit any person who shall be injured or who shall sustain damage to property proximately caused by the negligence of a the Owner, the Owner's employees and agents, or a Driver. A certificate of insurance consistent with this section shall be filed with the City Clerk and shall be issued by an insurance company authorized to do business as stated in Section 6.40.020(L). 6.40.080 License Fees. After the City Council has authorized the issuance of a Certificate, but before the Police Chief issues the Certificate, the Owner shall pay the City's business license fee for the right to engage in the Taxicab business as set forth in Resolution 92-100, as said Resolution may be amended from time to time. 6.40.090 Certificate - Transfer. No Certificate may be sold, assigned, mortgaged or otherwise transferred without the consent of the City Council. 6.40.100 Certificate - Duration. Every Certificate issued under this chapter shall be issued for a period of five years subject to revocation in a manner prescribed in this chapter.
