33. All site improvements and house construction activities shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.. Monday through Saturday. All construction equipment must meet DMV noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. 34. At no time shall campers. trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as living or sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be removed from the site at the end of each work day. 35. The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of construction to final inspection. 36. The applicants shall post address numerals on the building so as to be plainly visible from the adjoining streets during both daylight and night time hours. 37. The house shall the meet the fire and security requirements in Chapters 20.24 and 20.36 of Title 20, Buildings and Construction, of the Pleasanton Municipal Code. 38. The applicant shall ensure that fire protection facilities, including all surface roads, fire hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fire flow shall be installed and serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. When alternate methods of protection are as approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted, in writing, to the Fire Chief. Work on the alternative fire protection methods shall not start without the approval of the Fire Chief. 39. Driplines of trees planted close to chimneys shall be at least ten (10) feet away from the these chimney tops. The dripline shall be defined as the area on the ground that the tree covers on attaining its mature form. 40. If required by the Police Department, the building shall be equipped with an alarm system, the type to be approved by the Police Department. This system shall be installed prior to occupancy of the building. The EVA gate must allow for fire suppression and life safety operation access by providing for the Knox key access in addition to the Police Department requirements. 41. The applicant shall submit a construction Best Management Practice (BMP) program for review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of any building and/or grading permits. These BMP's shall be implemented by the general contractor and all subcontractors and suppliers of materi,~ls and equipment. Construction site cleanup and control of construction debris shall also be addressed in this program. Failure to comply with the approved construction BMP may result in the issuance of correction notices, citations, or a project stop work order. Conditions of Approval PUD-96-12 Page 5 of 6
