~'~x CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1732 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO TItE <br /> DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE SECURITY <br /> TRUST COMPANY REGARDING THE STONERIDGE <br /> REGIONAL SHOPPING CENTER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Government Code Section 65865 through Section 65869.5 authorizes cities and <br /> counties to enter into binding development agreements with persons having legal <br /> or equitable interests in real property for the development of such property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in 1992 the City of Pleasanton adopted Ordinance No. 1578 approving a <br /> development agreement between the City and the Security Trust Company, for the <br /> Stoneridge Regional Shopping Center; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Security Trust Company has applied to the City for an amendment to the <br /> development agreement; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after public notice, the Planning Commission held a heating and recommended <br /> approval of the amendment to the development agreement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 9, 1997, the City Council reviewed the staff report <br /> from the Director of Planning and Community Development (SR 97:350) together <br /> with copies of staff reports to the Planning Commission regarding this matter; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 9, 1997, a duly noticed public heating was held at which time the <br /> applicant and all other members of the public were offered an opportunity to <br /> present evidence regarding the amendment to the development agreement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects <br /> on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> December 9, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the amendment to the development agreement is <br /> consistent with the City's General Plan. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />
