~'~x CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1732 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO TItE DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH THE SECURITY TRUST COMPANY REGARDING THE STONERIDGE REGIONAL SHOPPING CENTER WHEREAS, Government Code Section 65865 through Section 65869.5 authorizes cities and counties to enter into binding development agreements with persons having legal or equitable interests in real property for the development of such property; and WHEREAS, in 1992 the City of Pleasanton adopted Ordinance No. 1578 approving a development agreement between the City and the Security Trust Company, for the Stoneridge Regional Shopping Center; and WHEREAS, the Security Trust Company has applied to the City for an amendment to the development agreement; and WHEREAS, after public notice, the Planning Commission held a heating and recommended approval of the amendment to the development agreement; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 9, 1997, the City Council reviewed the staff report from the Director of Planning and Community Development (SR 97:350) together with copies of staff reports to the Planning Commission regarding this matter; and WHEREAS, on December 9, 1997, a duly noticed public heating was held at which time the applicant and all other members of the public were offered an opportunity to present evidence regarding the amendment to the development agreement; and WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment, a negative declaration was adopted by Council on December 9, 1997; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the amendment to the development agreement is consistent with the City's General Plan. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
