Ordinance No. 1764 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, informational workshops regarding the Study have also been provided to <br /> the community, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown <br /> Association; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, information and comments raised by residents, businesses, and City <br /> officials have shaped the proposed Public Facilities Fee; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council held a noticed public hearing on October 20, 1998 to <br /> consider the proposed Public Facilities Fee; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and considered the staff report, and all oral <br /> and written testimony. <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN <br /> AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council adopts the findings set forth in Exhibit "A " , attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by this reference, as well as the provisions of <br /> the Public Facilities Fee Technical Report, attached to the Staff Report <br /> dated October 20, 1998 and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Pleasanton Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding a new <br /> Chapter 3.22, Public Facilities Fees, to read as set forth in Exhibit "B", <br /> attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: The Pleasanton Municipal Code is hereby amended by deleting Chapter <br /> 3.24, Construction Tax, in its entirety. <br /> <br />Section 4: A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br /> days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general <br /> circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance <br /> shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption. <br /> <br />Section 5:This ordinance shall be effective sixty (60) days after the date of its final <br /> passage and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Pleasanton on <br />October 20, 1998. <br /> <br /> Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
