The applicant commented on the restrooms and the design of the restrooms and he noted he would have <br />no objection to providing a locking door to the restrooms to allow for privacy for parents assisting <br />children of the opposite sex. <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry by Commissioner Maas, Mr. Plucker noted that the equipment has to meet <br />state standards as part of the manufacturing process and after meeting those standards, equipment can be <br />made available to the public without further inspection. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS CLOSED <br /> <br />Commissioner Maas noted she had no problem with the application and would vote in support of <br />approving the application. <br /> <br />Corrnnissioner Arkin moved to approve staff's recommendation. Further, that there be a <br />recommendation to make the restrooms friendly to both genders of parents and a recommendation that <br />all supervisors have a minimum of first aid and CPR training. Commissioner Maas seconded the <br />motion. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Arkin, seconded by Commissioner Maas, that the <br />conditional use findings be made as listed in the staff report and that a resolution be adopted <br />approving Case PCUP-1 subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "B." Further, that the <br />Commission recommends that the restrooms be friendly to both genders of parents and that all <br />supervisors have, as a minimum, first aid and CPR training. <br /> <br />ROLL CALLVOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Arkin, Maas, Sullivan and Chairperson Roberts <br />None <br />Commissioner Kameny and Kumaran <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-99-95 was entered and adopted as motioned. <br /> <br />PUD-99-03, William Kolb, Donna Miller, and Gene and Carol Strom <br />Application for PUD pre-zoning and PUD development plan approval for a residential <br />subdivision consisting of 12 single-family custom lots, open space, and public park uses, <br />and public street and infrastructure improvements located on approximately 55.4 acres; <br />and a senior care facility located on approximately 5.22 acres. The overall project site is <br />unincorporated and is located at 11393 Dublin Canyon Road. The Planning Commission <br />will also consider the negative declaration prepared for the project. <br /> <br />Mr. Plucker referenced the staff report dated December 8, 1999, and highlighted key areas contained in <br />the report including background information, project description, design guidelines, geotechnical issues, <br />access, circulation and parking, grading and utilities, growth management program, and landscaping. <br />He noted that an additional condition should be added to limit all homes in the development to 4500 <br />square feet.
