Commissioner Kumaran inquired whether there was sufficient interest on the Commission's part to
request that staff provide mitigation efforts for traffic at the hearing for the San Francisco Bernal project.
He requested that staff provide the Commission with the most recent current study of existing conditions
for traffic, the overlay that the San Francisco Bemal project would provide, and what mitigation efforts
are available relating to traffic.

Commissioner Maas inquired as to the number of items on the agenda for the October 27, 1999,
Commission meeting. Mr. Swift commented on the items that are agendized for that meeting. There is
considerable discussion relating to the number of items on the agendas for Commission meetings. The
Conmaission requested that the San Francisco Bernal property item be scheduled as the first item on the
October 27, 1999, meeting.
