RZ-99-03, CiO/of Pleasanton <br />Application to prezone two parcels, totaling approximately 155 acres in area, located at <br />4120 and 4126 Foothill Road to thc PUD (Planned Unit Development) - A (Agriculture) and <br />PUD-RDR (Rural Density Residential) zoning districts or any other zoning designations (s) <br />consistent with the General Plan. Also consider the Negative Declaration prepared for the <br />application. <br /> <br />Mr. Iserson referenced a staff report dated May 26, 1999, and highlighted key areas contained in the <br />report including background information, project description, General Plan conformance/zoning options, <br />and trail access. In conclusion, Mr. Iserson stated that staffs recommendation is that the Commission <br />find that the project would not have a significant effect on the environment and adopt a resolution <br />approving the attached draft Negative Declaration; find that the project has a De Minimis impact on the <br />site's wildlife; and, that the City Council adopt a resolution recommending approval of the proposed <br />prezoning of the Fuller property (4120 Foothill Road) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - A <br />(Agriculture) and PUD-RDR (Rural Density Residential) zoning districts and the Smathers property <br />(4126 Foothill Road) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - A (Agriculture) zoning district. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued relating to pre-annexation issues, location of the urban growth boundary line, and <br />zoning designation for this area as contained in the General Plan. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />Michael Fuller, co-applicant, 4120 Foothill Road, noted he concurred with the recommendations <br />contained in the staff report and identified the boundary lines of the property.
