Council for funding with $825,000 in remaining unallocated revenue from this year's budget. Further,
that staff is recommending that this revenue be appropriated to cover an existing underfunding of the
planned Municipal Golf Course.

There was considerable discussion by the Commission relating to which projects should be considered
high priority including public safety issues and school traffic mitigation measures.

A motion was made by Commissioner Cooper, seconded by Commissioner Roberts, that one half
of funds be allocated to the golf course and one-half of the funds be retained for initiation of a
project in forthcoming years for school traffic mitigation.

ROLL CALLVOTE

AYES:
NOES:
ABSENT:
ABSTAIN:

Commissioners Cooper, Roberts, Sullivan and Chairperson Kumaran
Commissioner Maas
Commissioner Kameny
None

Resolution No. PC-99-24 was entered and adopted as motioned.

Commissioner Maas stated that even though she agreed with her fellow commissioners regarding
mitigation for school traffic, she voted "no" on the motion because she is more in favor of seeing a
specific amount of money before any funding is appropriated.

A motion was made by Chairperson Kumaran, seconded by Commissioner Cooper, that the
high-priority projects as defined by the Commission are Additional Park Land Improvements at
the San Francisco Site; Community Trails System (including Arroyos); Delucchi Park and
Wayside Park, Phase II Renovation; Veterans Memorial Building Master Plan; Reforestation
Project; City Half Community Center; Downtown Parking; Val Vista Park Master Plan; and
Development of Pleasanton Municipal Golf Course.

ROLLCALLVOTE

AYES:
NOES:
ABSENT:
ABSTAIN:

Commissioners Cooper, Maas, Roberts, Sullivan, and Chairperson Kumaran
None
Commissioner Kameny
None

Resolution No. PC-99-25 was entered and adopted as motioned

COMMUNICATIONS

There were none.

10.
