THE CITY OF <br /> <br />pL£AS&NTON <br /> <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> MINUTES <br /> <br />City Council Chambers <br />200 Old Bernal Avenue <br />Pleasanton, California <br /> <br />Wednesday, February 17, 1999 <br /> 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The Planning Commission special meeting of February 17, 1999, was called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br />by Chairperson Kumaran. <br /> <br />ROLLCALL <br /> <br />Staff Members Present: <br /> <br />Wayne Rasmussen, Planner; Roger Higdon, Assistant Director of <br />Public Works; Larissa Seto, Assistant City Attorney; and, Deanne <br />Helgesen, Recording Secretary. <br /> <br />Commissioners Present: <br /> <br />Chairperson Kumaran and Commissioners Geoff Cooper, Harvey <br />Kameny, Trish Maas, Mary Roberts and Matt Sullivan <br /> <br />Commissioners Absent: None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF JANUARY 20, 1999 <br /> <br />Commissioner Kameny requested that the second sentence of his comments on the third <br />paragraph of page 3 be amended to reflect the potential fire hazards and police security impacts <br />associated with the park and the trails. He further requested that the EIR address the potential <br />noise impacts that the park might have on the existing adjacent subdivisions.
