A motion was made by Commissioner Maas, seconded by Commissioner Cooper, to recommend <br />approval of Case PUD-98-08 for PUD rezoning and development plan approval, subject to thc <br />conditions listed in Exhibit "B" and staff's memo; the addition of a condition that if staff has <br />concerns regarding visibility of custom homes they will be referred to the Planning Commission; <br />the addition of a condition for the Geological Hazard District; and, the change in Condition No. 3, <br />Growth Management, to have it be a first-come, first-serve project. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Cooper, Maas, Roberts, and Chairperson Kumaran <br />Commissioner Sullivan <br />None <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-99-14 was entered and adopted as motioned. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan noted that he voted in opposition to the motion due to impacts on views not <br />being satisfied by the conditions, environmental impacts to grasslands, and that the PUD should not be <br />approved until after discussion for a specific plan for Dublin Canyon Road. <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Kameny noted that the City Council does not hear additional items after 11:00 p.m. and <br />inquired whether the Planning Commission would be interested in adopting a similar policy for <br />Commission meetings. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kameny initiated discussion relating to areas in the City where a specific plan might be <br />necessary. He requested a copy of the planning document showing all of the vacant properties that are <br />not covered by a specific plan and are pending approval by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Chairperson Kumaran requested that discussion relating to a specific plan for the Dublin Canyon Road <br />be agendized for discussion at a meeting in the near future. <br /> <br />8. MATTERS FOR COMMISSION'S REVIEW <br /> <br />a. Future Planning Calendar <br /> <br />Chairperson Kumaran noted that a special meeting relating to the Vineyard Avenue Corridor <br />Specific Plan will be held February 17, 1999. <br /> <br />b.
