MATTERS INITIATED BY COM]VflSSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />In response to an inquiry from Commissioner Arkin, Mr. Grubstick advised that he will check on <br />the feedback from the Traffic Committee regarding the item referred by Commissioner Arkin. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin asked when the Planning Commission's recommendation regarding an <br />energy policy/strategy would be reviewed by the City Council. Mr. Swift advised that this wilt <br />be scheduled by the City Manager, but it is not likely to be placed on the January 9 agenda. <br /> <br />Commissioner Roberts noted that she received a letter from a company that wants to be involved <br />in the City's energy study. Chairperson Sullivan advised that a letter was also received from the <br />California Energy Commission expressing interest. <br /> <br />8.
