I~jYVI~RS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> <br />There were none. <br /> <br />Applicadon for a conditional use permit to allow the construction of a pool and spa in a <br />mar yard located at 3711 Trenery Drive. The pool and spa are proposeA to be set back a <br />minimum of 20 feet from the rear property line and set back a minimum of 50 feet from <br />~he side property line. Zoning for the property is PUD - LDR (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Low Density Residential District. <br /> <br />Mr. Pavan presented the staff report. He noted that there is no approved development plan for <br />this site, and, therefore, a conditional use pe~iifit is required to allow interim uses, such as a pool <br />and spa. He stated that staff feels that the application is consistent with other types of pools <br />approved for comparably zoned properties. Mr. Pavan advised that Mr. Al Wiemken, the <br />neighboring property owner, reviewed the proposed plans in the Planning Department today and <br />indicated his acceptance of the proposal. <br /> <br />Mr. Arldn advised that he does live near the pwject, but staff'bas advised that there is no conflict <br />of inter~t. <br /> <br />COMMENTS FROM THE APPLICANT <br /> <br />It was noted that Mr. Larson was present. <br /> <br />PUBLI~ NEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />Mr. Albert Wiemkan, 3737 Trenery Drive, advised that he did look at the plans. He noted that <br />the home is appro~imntely 8,$00-square feet and that he did not complain about the size of the <br />home I~cause it is on a 1.S-acre site. He stated that he believes the older swimming pool, which <br />is no lohger there, was farther from the property line. He advised that he is troubled that the <br />s~'uctun~ on the property are skewed to the east.
