A motion was made by Chairperson Roberts, seconded by Commissioner Maas, making <br />~he PUD ~nd~n~s as listed in the staff report~ and recommending approval of Case <br />PUD-~I-28-4M, subject to the conditions of approval as shown in staff's memorandum <br />dated August 23, 2000. <br /> <br />Commissioner Maas stated that she feels this project will be a pleasant addition to the W. Withrow <br />Application for a conditional use permit to conduct dance and martian arts classes within <br />an existing commercian suite located at 915 Main Slreei, Suite C. Zoning for the property <br />is C-C (Central Commercial) District. <br /> <br />Mr. Plucker presented the staff report, providing an overview of the history of the use permit for <br />this location, the relocation of the applicant's business to this site, and the issues related to <br />parking. He noted that the standard condition of approvan requiring that the conditional use <br />permit be returned to the Planning Commission for subsequent review at a public hearing if the <br />use results in any unforeseen impacts is included in the approvan. <br /> <br />Chairperson Roberts noted that G-imaneili's now occupies the tenant space formerly occupied by <br />the Liguria Deli and they anso own the Pasta Shoppe. Discussion ensued regarding the other <br />businesses currently occupying the center and former uses which included a restaurant, and <br />issues related to parking availability on the site. Chairperson Roberts noted that it is difficult to <br />ilmd parking as a client of the Veterinarian Clinic between 4:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. <br />Commi_ssiouer Kameny noted that the parking is impacted most between 11:30 lcm. and <br />12:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Plucker noted that thc applicant has been very amiable and prompt in responding to staff <br />with regard to her obtaining the conditional use permit for this business. <br /> <br />COMMENTS FROM THE APPLICANT <br /> <br />Sally Lovs, 915-(2 Main Street, stated that she has had a business in Pleasanton for about ten <br />years.
