c. Ac~ons of the Zonino Administrator <br />~ There were none. <br /> <br />7. MATTERS INITIATED BY COMMISSION MEMBERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Maa~ initiated discussion relating to the person responsible for paying fees when <br />cases are appealed. Mr. Plucker noted that a policy is being implemented that would make the <br />appellant responsible for duplication of the costs. <br /> <br />Commissioner Kameny requested that staff examine the grading being conducted at the <br />Synagogue property on Bernal Avenue. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin initiated discussion relating to the grading being conducting on Sunol <br />Boulevard and Interstate 680. Mr. Plucker noted this is part of the Castlewood Estates property <br />that was originally approved in 1991 and is currently under coustmction. Commissioner Arkin <br />suggested that the Commission examine one old PUD once every one- to two- months at a <br />Commission meeting. Mr. Plucker noted that staffis examining this issue. <br /> <br />Commissioner Sullivan initiated discussion relating to the signage on a dental building on <br />Pleasanton and Bemal Avenues. Mr. Plucker noted he will encourage the owner to resolve sign <br />issues at this location. <br /> <br />Chairl~rson Roberts informed the Commission of an article in the Wall Street Journal that Cisco <br />Systems is relocating to Milpitas.
