MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> <br />PAP-08 ¢Case PADR-251/PV-03) Mike and Jane Carev <br />(Appellants: Ray Oestreich) <br />Appeal of the Zoning Administrator's approval of an application for a variance and design <br />review approval for a 22-foot high, 598-square-foot detached garage with an <br />approximately 368-square-foot second floor, located in the rear yard of the residence at <br />383 Division Street. Zoning for the property is R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) <br />District. <br /> <br />Mr. Plucker noted this hearing was held from the June 14, 2000 meeting at the request of the <br />appellant due to the appellant not being able to be present at the meeting. Mr. Plucker referenced <br />a staff report dated June 28, 2000 and highlighted key areas contained in the report includ'mg <br />background information and project description. Mr. Plucker noted that staff's recommendation <br />is that Commission uphold the Zoning Administrator approval and deny the subject appeal. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued relating to clarification of the square footage of second units. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING WAS OPENED <br /> <br />Robert Cordtz, 262 W. Angela, spoke in favor of the project being approved. Mr. Cordtz <br />expressed concern with application being postponed any longer due to the appellant not <br />appearing at the hearings.
