A motion was made by Commissioner Maas, seconded by Chairperson Roberts, to make <br />the tentative tract map findings as listed in the staff report, approve the tentative tract map <br />subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit "B,' with modifications to (1) amend Plan 6 to <br />have more detail on the front of the home, including moving the front door and adding a <br />porch dement, and investigating moving the den/bedroom 3 to the rear of the home and <br />moving the kitchen to the front of the home where the den/bedroom 3 was located; and (2) <br />to reduce the width of the road across from lots 4, 5, 12, and 13 that abut the pathway to 24 <br />fect and, if possible, less than that, and to investigate and make any other modifications <br />(including the reduction of the width of the pathway to eight feet) that can be done to <br />increase the setback from the Arroyo while maintaining the consistency with the PUD. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL VOTE <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: <br />ABSENT: <br />ABSTAIN: <br /> <br />Commissioners Maas, Sullivan and Chairperson Roberts <br />Commissioner Arkin <br />Commissioner Kameny <br />None <br /> <br />Resolution No. PC-2000-20 was entered and adopted as motioned. <br /> <br />Commissioner Arkin stated that he voted no because he would like to have seen a compromise to <br />waive only one-half of the affordable housing fees. <br /> <br />Co <br /> <br />PRZ-01. West Foothill Road Corridor Overlay District <br />Application to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Code by amending Chapter 18.78, West <br />Foothill Road Corridor Overlay District Design Guidelines. The amendment would <br />enlarge the boundaries of the district to include all residential land west of Foothill Road <br />(including properties on or near Dublin Canyon Road and properties west of the 670-foot <br />elevation contour line to properties 300 feet west of the Pleasanton Ridge and main <br />ridges). The amendment would also create new standards to: (1) help reduce the visual <br />impacts of development on or near Dublin Canyon Road and west of the 670-foot <br />elevation contour line; and (2) maintain/enhance the rural character of development on or <br />near Dublin Canyon Road and west of the 670-foot elevation contour line to properties <br />300 feet west of the Pleasanton Ridge and main ridges. <br /> <br />This item was continued to the April 12, 2000 meeting. <br /> <br />Review of Prooosed Draft lncinsionarv Zoninn Ordinance reouirinu New <br />Develooment to Provide Affordable Housing <br /> <br />Ivir. Bocian presented the staff report regarding the proposed Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance <br />which requires new development to provide for affordable housing. He advised that the purpose <br />of this review of the proposed Ordinance is to obtain feedback from the Planning Commission. <br />The Ordinance will then be returned to the Housing Commission and then submitted to the City <br />Council.
