Resolution No. 01-109 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />l) <br /> <br />to petition the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and <br />Caltrans to elevate the priority of funding for implementing a coordinated <br />system of ramp metering, surveillance and incident management in the <br />1-680 Smart Corridor and establish a schedule for implementing the <br />completion and mm on of meters as recommended in the 1-580 Smart <br />Corridor Phase I Report. <br /> <br />2) <br /> <br />To work with other Alameda County, Tri-Valley jurisdictions to secure the <br />Transportation System Management Funding, via the Alameda County <br />Congestion Management Agency (ACCMA), needed to complete the 1-580 <br />Smart Corridor Project. <br /> <br />3) <br /> <br />To continue to work cooperatively through the 1-580 Smart Corridor <br />Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and Policy Advisory Committee <br />(PAC) to establish operating agreements and understandings to equitably <br />manage the traffic in the Corridor and economically operate the traffic <br />management systems. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, AT <br />A MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 16, 2001 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Mayor Pico <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Councilmembers - Ayala, Campbell, Dennis, and Vice Mayor Michelotti <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />Michael H.
