JOBS AND LEADERSHIP <br /> <br />Goal: <br /> <br />identify, evaluate, create and promote opportunities for jobs and leadership positions for the <br />youth of Pleasanton. Increase the awareness of existing and potential programs through a <br />proactive partnership with business, community and civic organizations. <br /> <br />Objectives: <br /> <br />· incorporate on the City of Pleasanton website (with monthly updates), ]inks to youth <br /> leadership, internship, job and community service opportunities. <br /> <br />Explore the feasibility of the Economic Vitality Manager acting as the key <br />communicator/facilitator among the Chamber of Commerce, Hacienda owners <br />Association, Pleasanton Downtown Association, PPIE, other related agencies and <br />youth, and as it relates to the first objective listed above as well. <br /> <br />Investigate the possibility of including the youth work force in the "Employment <br />Connections" program being developed by the Economic Vitality Committee. - <br />Liaison Committee <br /> <br />6 <br /> <br /> <br />
