Resolution No. PC-00-59 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />13. <br /> <br />14. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />16. <br /> <br />Outdoor noise created by park activities shall not exceed an Lan of 60 dB, as <br />specified for residential areas in the City's General Plan. <br /> <br />Events and programs scheduled for the project site shall be limited to park-related <br />activities that do not exceed the available parking, as determined by the Director of <br />Parks and Community Services. <br /> <br />Private use or rental of the park shall only be permitted for uses in accordance with <br />thc intended historical character of thc park. <br /> <br />A minimum of one family-style restroom shall be provided in the public restroom <br />facility on site. The Planning Director shall approve the design of the bathroom <br />prior to issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />All full-sized parking spaces shall be a minimum of 19' x 9' in size and compact <br />parking spaces shall be a minimum ofS' x 16' in size. Parking spaces may overhand <br />by a maximum of 2' into a landscaped area, as determined by the Zoning <br />Administrator. Each compact car space shall be marked clearly with bold lettering <br />no less than 8" in height "Compact Car Only". The dimensions of the parking stalls <br />shall be clearly shown on the plans submitted for Building Department plan check. <br /> <br />The project developer shall comply with all of the recommendations detailed in the <br />tree report prepared by HortScience, Inc. Consulting Arborist, dated March 2000. <br />All construction recommendations contained in this report shall be printed in bold <br />print on the front page of the building permit planset and on the appropriate sheets <br />in the planset including but not limited to the grading, site, and landscaping plans. <br />The tree protection area shall be indicated on the site and grading plans. <br /> <br />To the extent feasible without compromising the historical integrity of this site, the <br />project developer shall implement the measures identified in the Green Building <br />Council's "Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design" (LEED) standards in <br />the design, construction, and operation of the proposed buildings. These measures <br />shall be shown on the building permit plan set and submitted for review and <br />approval before issuance of a building permit. In conjunction with the building <br />permit application, the project developer shall determine the building's "LEED <br />Green Building Rating", using the GBC evaluating methodology, and shall report <br />the rating to the Planning Director before issuance of the building permit which <br />shall be reported to the Planning Commission. Prior to building permit issuance, <br />the green building provisions that are proposed to be included in the development <br />shall be submitted to the Alameda County Waste Management Authority <br />(ACMWA) for review and comment. Once the ACWMA has generated its <br />comments, City staff shall arrange a meeting between the ACWMA staff and the <br />project developer to discuss said comments and to determine if other feasible, <br />mutually agreeable green building measures can be incorporated into the project. <br /> <br />The project developer shall submit a final lighting plan for the site for review and <br />approval of the Planning Director prior to the issuance of building permits.
