witnessing of tests shall be completed prior to final inspection and occupancy of the building(s). <br />The fire alarm system shall be monitored in accordance with the Pleasanton Municipal <br />Ordinance #1778. The fire alarm system shall transmit zone information to a UL listed Central <br />Station as specified in the Ordinance. <br /> <br />39. <br /> <br />The project developer shall keep the site free of fire hazards from the start of lumber construction <br />until the final inspection. <br /> <br />40. <br /> <br />Prior to any construction framing, the project developer shall provide adequate fire protection <br />facilities including a water flow in conformance to the City's Fire Department Standards able to <br />suppress a major fire. <br /> <br />Engineering Requirements: <br /> <br />41. All utilities required to serve the proposed development on-site shall be installed underground. <br /> <br />42. <br /> <br />The project developer shall comply with the recommendations of the geotechnieal report: <br />"Geotechnical Investigation On Proposed Single-Family Residence, 9900 Longview Lane, <br />Pleasanton, California for Mr. Wajahat Ali, (Project No. 1013.11)", prepared by GFK and <br />Associates dated August 7, 2000, the response to peer review comments by GFK & Associates, <br />Geoteclmical Consultants, to Wajahat Ali, dated September 19, 2000, and the "Second <br />Geotechnical Review" letter from Raymond P. Skinner, Senior Engineering Geologist, and <br />Theodore P. Bayham, Associate, of ENGEO, Incorporated to Marion Pavan, dated September <br />22, 2000. These measures shall be implemented to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. The <br />project developer's geotechnical consultant shall review and approve all foundation, retaining <br />wall, and drainage geotechnical aspects of the fmal development plans to ensure that the <br />recommendations have been properly incorporated into the development. The consultant shall <br />certify by writing on the plans or as otherwise acceptable to the Director of Building Inspection <br />that the final development plan is in conformance with the geotechnical report approved with the <br />project. <br /> <br />43. <br /> <br />The project developer shall construct Catchment walls at the base of the landslide areas <br />identified in the above-stated geotechmcal reports. The wall shall be designed and constructed to <br />the satisfaction of the City Engineer, Planning Director, and Director of Building Inspection. <br />Design plans for the walls shall be submitted with the building permit plan set for review before <br />issuance of building permits. If necessary, as determined by the Planning Director, the walls <br />shall be faced with a decorative stone material and/or similar design treatment. The walls shall <br />be completed to the satisfaction of the the City Engineer, Planning Director, and Director of <br />Building Inspection before issuance of an occupancy permit. <br /> <br />44. <br /> <br />The project developer shall arrange and pay for the geotechmcal consultant to inspect and <br />approve all foundation, retaining, and wall and drainage geotechnical aspects of project <br />comqtn~ction. The consultant shall be present on site during grading and excavation operations. <br />The results of the inspections and the as-built conditions of the project shall be certified in <br />writing by the geotechmcal consultant for conformance to the approved plans and geotechmcal <br /> <br />PDR-63, Final Conditions of Approval Page 6 of 8 Per Planning Commission Approval <br /> <br /> <br />
