Resolution No. PC-2000-51 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />The proposed commemial building is conditioned to be designed to meet the <br />requirements of the Uniform Building Code, other applicable City codes, and <br />State of California mandated noise, energy, and accessibility requirements. <br />Adequate access is provided to the proposed structure for police, fire, and other <br />emergency vehicles. <br /> <br />7. The plan conforms to the purposes of the PUD district. <br /> <br />The proposed PUD Development Plan sets forth the parameters for the <br />development of the subject property in a manner consistent with the Pleasanton <br />General Plan and with the surrounding area. The proposed PUD Development <br />Plan implements the purposes of the City's PUD Ordinance by providing a <br />commercial development consisting of a 7,700-square-foot, two-story structure. <br />Through the recommended conditions applied to the subject PUD Development <br />Plan, the proposed project will substantially conform to the requirements for <br />residential development specified in the Pleasanton General Plan. <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project is attractive and <br />well-designed, fulfills the applicable requirements of the Pleasanton Downtown <br />Specific Plan, complements the character of the surrounding area, and will be an <br />attractive addition to the Downtown area. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Recommends approval of Case PUD-81-284M, the application of Mitchell <br />Pereira for a major modification of an existing PUD Development Plan to allow <br />the construction of an approximately 7,638-square-foot, two-story <br />office/commercial building, located on a portion of the existing parking/landscape <br />area of the Pleasanton Station development on the north side of West Angela <br />Street approximately 200 feet east of Main Street, subject to the conditions shown <br />in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br /> <br /> <br />
