PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2000-51 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE APPLICATION OF <br />MITCHELL PEREIRA FOR A MAJOR MODIFICATION TO A PUD <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-28-4M <br /> <br />Mitchell Pereim has applied for a major modification of an existing PUD <br />Development Plan to allow the construction of an approximately 7,638-square-foot, <br />two-story office/commercial building, located on a portion of the existing <br />parking/landscape area of the Pleasanton Station development on the north side of <br />West Angela Street approximately 200 feet east of Main Street; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - C-O (Commercial- <br /> Office) District and Downtown Revitalization District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of August 23, 2000, the Planning Commission, <br />after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of <br />the City staff concerning this application, approved the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following PUD findings: <br /> <br />The proposed development plan is in the best interests of the public health, <br />safety, and general welfare. <br /> <br />The proposed project as designed and conditioned, meets all applicable City <br />standards concerning public, health, safety, and welfare. The proposed <br />development plan has been designed to be compatible with adjacent land uses. <br />The proposed building design complements the design character of Downtown <br />Pleasanton and the existing eommeroial buildings on West Angela Street. The <br />proposed development plan is designed in conformance with the applicable <br />policies and standards of the Pleasanton General Plan and the Pleasanton <br />Downtown Specific Plan. All public street infrastructure, including water, storm, <br />and sanitary sewer lines are in place to serve the proposed project. <br /> <br /> <br />
