Resolution No. PC-2000-12 <br /> <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />30. <br /> <br />The applicants shall apply for and receive an encroachment permit prior to the start <br />of construction. An erosion control and hazard abatement cash bond, in the <br />amount of $2000, shall be posted with receipt of the encroachment permit and <br />shall be maintained throughout the construction period. <br /> <br />31. No construction materials shall be stored within the public right-of-way. <br /> <br />32. <br /> <br />If thc rim elevation of the upstream public sanitary sewer is at an elevation higher <br />than that of the lowest portion of the building pad, a back-flow prevention device <br />(check valve) shall be installed on the lateral between the house and public <br />sanitary sewer line. This detail shall be shown on the final grading and drainage <br />plan for review and approval by the City Engineer before issuance of a building <br />and/or grading permit. <br /> <br />33. <br /> <br />Portable toilets used during construction shall be kept as far as possible t~om <br />existing residences and shall be emptied on a regular basis as necessary to prevent <br />odor. <br /> <br />34. <br /> <br />The applicants shall submit a pad elevation certification prepared by a licensed <br />land surveyor or registered civil engineer to the Chief Building Official and <br />Planning Director, certifying that the pad and building locations (setbacks) are <br />pursuant to the approved plans, prior to receiving a foundation inspection for the <br />structure. <br /> <br />35. <br /> <br />Dust and mud shall be contained within the boundaries of the property during <br />times of construction. <br /> <br />36. <br /> <br />The applicant shall submit a construction Best Management Practices (BMP's) <br />program for review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of <br />building and/or grad'mg permits. These BMP's shall be implemented by the <br />general contractor and all subcontractors and suppliers of materials and equipment. <br />Construction site cleanup and control of construction debris shall also be <br />addressed. Failure to comply with the approved construction BMP may result in <br />the issuance of correction notices, citations, or a stop work order. The applicant is <br />responsible for implementing the following measures during all construction <br />phases of the project: <br /> <br />Gather all construction debris on a regular basis and place it in a dumpster <br />or other container which is emptied or removed an a weekly basis. When <br />appropriate, use tarps on the ground to collect fallen debris or splatters that <br />could contribute to storm water runoff pollution. <br /> <br /> <br />
