Resolution No. PC-2000-10 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br /> is provided in bom of each reduced-size parking space, as determined by the Zoning <br /> Administrator. Each compact car space shall be marked clearly with bold lettering no <br /> less than 8" in height "Compact Car Only". The dimensions of the parking stalls shall <br /> be clearly shown on the plans submitted for Building Department plan check. <br /> <br />14. A total of eight paved pedestrian walkways shall be provided in the parking lot. The <br /> walkways shall be located through the landscape strips and placed in such a manner to <br /> minimize the number of pedestrians who will walk over the shrubs and ground cover <br /> to reach the administrative buildings. The walkways shall be clearly shown on the <br /> plans submitted for Building Department plan check. All shrubs shown on Exhibit <br /> "A" that must be removed to accommodate a given walkway shall be relocated into <br /> the same landscape strip as the walkway. The location and design of the pedestrian <br /> walkways and the placement of the shrubs to be relocated is subject to the review and <br /> approval of the Planning Department prior to the issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />15. In the parking lot the fence and gate, generally west of the administrative buildings, <br /> shall be black, wrought iron, and no greater than 8 feet in height as measured from <br /> grade to peak. An elevation drawing of the gate and fence shall be provided with the <br /> Building Department plan check plans. The height, color(s), and materials of the <br /> fence and gate shall be clearly stated on the Building Department plan check plans. <br /> Barbwire shall not be permitted on the fence and gate. The fence and gate shall be <br /> subject to the review and approval of the Planning Department prior to the issuance of <br /> a Building permit. <br /> <br />16. The existing red sprinkler equipment installed in the existing front landscaping berm <br /> shall be painted forest green (Pantone Color System Number 357). <br /> <br />17. The applicant shall effectively screen from view all ducts, meters, air conditioning <br /> equipment, and any other mechanical equipment, whether on the structure, on the <br /> ground, or on the roof, with materials architecturally compatible with the main <br /> structure. Screening details shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of <br /> building permits, the adequacy of which shall be determined by the Planning Director. <br /> All required screening shall be provided prior to occupancy. <br /> <br />18. All new light standards shall match the existing light standards on site. The applicant <br /> shall submit a final lighting plan for the new administrative building and for the site <br /> for the review and approval of the Planning Director prior to the issuance of building <br /> permits. <br /> <br /> <br />
