Resolution No. PC-2000-10 Page 3 7. The plan conforms to the purposes of the PUD district. One of the primary purposes of the PUD district is to accommodate changing market conditions and community desires. Allowing Pacific Bell to increase the size of their business will allow them to launch "Project Pronto" in the community, thus allowing for better, faster communication services in Pleasanton. the Planning Commission determined that the proposed administrative building on site is appropriate and generally well designed to blend in with the existing building and that the project is consistent with the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves the application of Garcia/Wagner and Associates (for Pacific Bell) for a PUD (Planned Unit Development) major modification to allow (1) the construction of a new administrative building which is proposed to be approximately 4,000 square feet in size and 19 feet tall (including the roof equipment screen); (2) the construction of approximately 36 new parking stalls; and (3) the addition of landscaping on site located at 7240 Johnson Drive, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless appealed prior to that time.
