PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2000-07 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL OF CASE PAP-03, THE APPEAL OF A <br />DECISION OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S APPROVAL OF THE <br />APPLICATION OF JACK CHESTNUT, AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-98-310 AND <br />CASE Z-98-311 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Jack Chesmut has applied for administrative design review to remodel and <br />construct an approximately 2,266-square-foot, one- and two-story addition to the <br />existing 1,320-square-foot dwelling, and for a modification to the design review <br />approval for a second unit to increase the overall height of the second unit from <br />14 feet to 15 feet located at 4128 Stanley Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is R-I-20,000 District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on December 13, 1999, the Zoning Administrator granted approval of the design <br /> review and the second unit height modification; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, within the time specified by the Pleasanton Municipal Code, a neighbor filed an <br /> appeal of the Zoning Administrator's approval; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />at its duly noticed public hearing of January 26, 2000, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />projects of this nature are categorically exempt from the requirements of the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA); therefore, no environmental <br />document was prepared for this project; and <br /> <br />the Planning Commission determined that the proposed design review to remodel <br />and construct additions to the existing dwelling and the modification to the design <br />review approval for the second unit were not appropriate. <br /> <br /> <br />
