PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. PC-2000-03 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR THE APPLICATION OF KAISER ALUMINUM AND CHEMICAL <br />CORPORATION, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-98-07 <br /> <br />Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation has applied for Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) approval for a master plan and design guidelines that would <br />allow for the development of up to 1.1 million square feet of office/research and <br />development buildings to be located on an approximately 80-acre parcel located at <br />6177 Sunol Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD-I (Planned Unit Development-Industrial) District; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of January 12, 2000, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br /> negative declaration prepared for Case PUD-98-07; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of <br /> the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with <br />the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br /> have any significant adverse effects on the environmem. <br /> <br /> <br />
